Privacy policy

This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from lalithacolors.com (the “Site”).

 

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT: When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information”.

We collect Device Information using the following technologies: - “Cookies” are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. Additionally when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers [[INSERT ANY OTHER PAYMENT TYPES ACCEPTED]]), email address, and phone number. We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfil any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to: - Communicate with you; - Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and - When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

 

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above. YOUR RIGHTS: If you are an European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below.

Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfil contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.

 

DATA RETENTION: When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

CHANGES: We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.

RETURN & CANCELLATION POLICIES

 

Original Artworks: All sales are final. Cancellations, exchanges and refunds are not available

Art Prints: All sales are final. We do not offer refunds as all orders are "made to order". However, if your prints meet the "Exchange requirements" you can exchange an Art Print for another print of equal or greater value, or for store credit within 7 calendar days from the date of delivery. If the period of 7 days has lapsed since the delivery, we can't, unfortunately, offer you an exchange or store credit.

Buyer is responsible for all shipping charges associated with an exchange, paying any difference in price, and will be charged a 5% restocking fee based on the price of the original print(s) being exchanged. Art Print orders can only be cancelled if the print has not been printed yet, as all orders are "made to order". Prints are sometimes printed immediately so there is no guarantee you will be able to cancel your print order. Due to costs associated with every order, regardless if it has been printed, you will be charged a 5% cancellation fee based on the total cost of your order.

Second Sale or any other sale: All sales are final. Cancellations, exchanges and refunds are not available

 

Exchange requirements: The following criteria must be met to qualify for an exchange:

1. Product must be in original packaging. Product must not be damaged. In order to ensure the above criteria have been met, all returns will be inspected. 2. To complete your exchange, we require a receipt, purchase order or other proof of purchase. Please note that without the aforementioned proof of purchase, we will not do an exchange. 3. Only regular priced items may be exchanged, unfortunately sale or clearance items cannot be exchanged. 4. You will be responsible for paying for the shipping costs with regard to the item(s) that you are returning for an exchange, as well as the shipping costs for the new item(s). We will not refund the shipping costs. 5. You must take care to ensure that the goods are properly packaged so that they will not be damaged while in transit. If the product is found damaged or used beyond what it takes for us to re-sell the item, then we may reject an exchange. All exchanges and approved returns will be subject to a 5% restocking fee. 6. We are not liable for any mishandling or failed delivery by the shipping service and we are not liable for any damage incurred post-delivery. We work hard to package each order with care in sturdy flat mailers and tubes so that it arrives undamaged, and we suggest you handle your new artwork with care when framing. Please be kind when reaching out us. 7. We are unable to reprint any order for free that has been not delivered, lost, stolen, or incorrect shipping address. 8. Free replacements will not be provided if your package is held by your country's customs which causes a delay of longer than 60 days of date of dispatch. Cash refunds on Paypal/Credit card/Debit card are not applicable for lost mail. 9. If you do not want the free replacement of the same items in your package, you can opt for store credit instead. 10. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. If the product does not meet the listed criteria, we reserve the right not to issue an exchange. 11. In order to return an order, you must contact us first. SHIPPING POLICY

 

SHIPPING: Once a shipment goes out, I will always provide you with a tracking number. It is no longer in my control once India Post has accepted the package. If you think your order is taking longer than it should, you can always call your local post office with the tracking number and they will be able to give you more info than I can.

If you have not received your package within 60 days of date of dispatch, owing to the package being lost in the mail, we will send you a free replacement or offer refund in store credit only. Cash refunds on Paypal/ Credit card/ Debit card are not applicable for lost mail.


 

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS: Packages are shipped via Registered Post through India Post. International Buyers will be responsible for any possible additional taxes or customs fees relevant to the laws of their country [this cannot be pre-determined; your local postal office will contact you with the value and details once they have the package]. Returns, due to non-payment of custom fees, will not be accepted. Sometimes packages take longer than stated at checkout, this is a drawback of the postal services of two countries and I will not be held responsible.
